Prospect Passage

“The house protects the dreamer; the house allows one to dream in peace” (Bachelard, 1964). 

Inspired by Derek Jarman’s beloved ‘Prospect Cottage’ and the lead model of the cottage that sits upon Jarman’s desk in his film ‘The Garden’ Jenny’s glass iteration appears to be floating across the two vistas separating the cottage in Dungeness. The glass structure is saturated by the film which cross fades between the sun slowly rising and setting between the two separate perspectives. The film concludes in his garden.
